i like what i do. i like being able to make something out of nothing though i’m not a magician like some clients may think. i can’t pull designs out of my hat on a whim but lightning does strike in a bottle from time to time. i like being able to turn a client’s ideas and their imagery of words into something visual even though there might be some bumps along the road. yeah, i said that. it’s part of the deal and part of the process.

true zen is about making clients happy while not bending over backwards too much. just like in my designs that’s the a balance i always try to seek. the words “i don’t know what i want but i know what i don’t like” doesn’t make me cringe. it’s a challenge and i like that. it makes things interesting.

there is something about the potential of random images and deciphering of sketches from paper napkins that make things worth while. it’s the idea of something more. a sense of accomplishment and practice bundled into one. i like to see what people have to say, think and create. i don’t dream in black and white or in CMYK or RGB. i just dream. don’t you?

live, learn and grow with all the applauses and all the punches and never forget to laugh. that would be a shame.
